Date Night at Alamo Drafthouse

Take a breather before Cyber Monday and relax with dinner & a movie. Scott and I were recently invited to check out Alamo Drafthouse. If you’ve never been, it’s traditional movie seating with a long narrow table in between you and the next row. You write down your order and place it the designated spot which signals your waiter (see how it works). The night we went was cold and rainy so it was fun to cozy up inside for date night. We saw the sci-fi space epic Interstellar starring Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway. I enjoyed it but Scott thought it was slooow. (Maybe that because it’s almost 3 hours long!) I wore my favorite casual look of late: sweater (or plaid shirt) + puffer vest + scarf + skinny jeans and Uggs (nothing is more cozy!).
