Ford’s 1st Birthday

It’s so true what they say – the days are long but the years are short. I can’t believe Ford is ONE! We celebrated on his actual birthday (February 11th) at the park with a circus themed double birthday bash. My college friend Cheyanne also has a Ford who was born on the 12th. It was fun to plan the party together and I hope we continue this tradition.

I love the giant #1 balloon by Ballooms! It really makes a statement and a great photo back drop. The yard balloon company just expanded to Houston from Austin. I also used an Austin company for the paper goods. My friend Carrie of Murchison Dry Goods designed a custom circus suite complete with invitations, party favor tags, stickers, and plastic cups. Did you notice the two boys’ monograms in the elephants balloons? Love!

The cake balls from Petite Sweets are the perfect size for little fingers. Keeping with the circus theme, we also served popcorn in mini red & white popcorn buckets and traditional Barnum & Bailey animal crackers. Guests took home popcorn filled stadium cups.
