Christmas morning is not complete without hot chocolate or cocoa as we called it growing up. I envision sitting around the tree, opening presents with a steaming mug. Doesn’t that sound cozy?

Since I’m hosting Christmas breakfast this year (see my tabletop here), I wanted to set up a help yourself Hot Chocolate Bar. Juliska has the cutest ruby winter collection that’s perfect for the holidays! I set up the bar with coffee mugs on the left, the hot chocolate in a beautiful silver plated urn in the middle, and toppings on the right.  I used my grandmother’s antique silver cigarette holders to hold the peppermint sticks and a crystal bowl overflows with marshmallows.

My talented friend Nancy provided the finishing touches that really make it special. She painted a beautiful “Hot Chocolate Bar” sign that ties into the Juliska Country Estate Winter pattern and adorned my hutch with fresh Holly berries & leaves that we snagged from my parent’s backyard. I also love the mini vases with deep red flowers sprinkled through out.
